Best Entry Level Mountain Bike? Diamondback Hook 27.5

I snagged last years model for 300 bucks at dicks sporting goods! I enjoy the bike. I was dying to get back on a hardtail and this bike does not disappoint.

Johannes Nilsen says:

These cheap SR Suntour forks are junk. as for simplicity of hardtail, for me its just more painful,as i have back issues.
try the music is way too loud in this video.

Tyrone Smith says:

Where did you get the bike on sale at? Thanks

Malcolm. Scott says:

Hey once again good video, I’m. checking this one out its orange colored.

Caleb Olkiewicz says:

The 2017 model can be bought from performancebike.com for 600 bucks. Just a heads up for all who are interested.

Panda Games says:

You should review the diamondback overdrive.

Alex S. says:

Good video. Would you recommend the hook to someone who doesn’t really do a lot of aggressive mountain trials? I ride mostly on paved roads and occasionally on dirt paths but I love the bike for its color and simplicity (hardtail, one-by drive train). I rarely ever use the small and large chainrings on three-bys.

gustavo figueroa says:

Nice vid men, keep making content like this 🙂

Salamander Workshop says:

next time try to make your voice over louder and music a liitle softer, just trying to help you improve. other than that great vid.

René Berndt says:

The Vitus Nucleus offers way better components for example an air spring fork and hydraulic disc brakes and it comes in 27,5 and 29

Equalized says:

Is this better than the VooDoo Bizango????

Prabhjot Lidhar Singh says:

I love your channel but music is a bit too loud

And your videos seem inspired by Seth bike hacks

B&C Motorsports says:

I just got some Rockshox gold 1 1/8 straight tube,27.5,9mm axle fork,Renthal carbon fatbars, and diamondback sent me an upgraded front sprocket.I suggest getting all of those

Ian Pietersz says:

Diamondback hook or Raleigh Tokul 2

Landon Sugar says:

Whats the difference in the 2016 and 2017? A buddy of mine is selling a 2016 Hook for $400 (only ridden about 10 times). Should I get the 2016 or go ahead and spend the extra $200 for the 2017?

AustinG says:

Don’t buy the hook. Buy the specialized rockhopper sport.

Matthew Menze says:

I’ve become increasingly impressed with Diamond Back’s offerings. How do you think it compares in price/quality over getting a used but well maintained bike off craigslist, ebay, or similar?

Caleb Olkiewicz says:

Sorry about the audio in this video. I switched over to a different editing program and I am still trying to master it.

JFWoWZ says:

Hey man! I’m getting one soon! Have you upgraded anything on it so far? If so let me know! Thanks

XxlolxX Brush says:

to be honest this bike sucks, a giant talon is about the same price and it comes with a way better package and I think they could have chosen a better fork…..

Jacelboy Kitty says:

1:14 it is made in China!!!!!!!

Prabhjot Lidhar Singh says:

I disagree I think it’s the trek marlin 6 it cost 700$ with hydraulic brakes

random abandoned says:

Nice vid, thanks for the review

Jacob Wolfe says:
